Maybelline rocket volume express is a dry formula , but not to dry it seems perfect , I also like the YSL shocking mascara which is a wet formula ,

Can someone explain the difference between wet and dry (besides the obvious) I've never heard those terms before.

Wet would be more of the consistency of a new tube of mascarra. dry would be a thicker formula. dries faster and hold a curl a bit more than with wet formulas. I have loreal carbon black mascarra, and its a wet formula. I absolutely love it.

I'd say so.

My favourite mascara is max factor false lash effect, and I'd say that is more of a dry formula but its definitely not cakey. I don't like really wet formulas, because if my eyelashes touch my eyelids above before they are dry, it ruins my makeup. I've never tried cake pan mascara, I'd love to try that for a pin up look, see if its the real deal.

Wow, I never knew mascara was so complicated! I'd never ever heard of cake pan mascara, so I'll check that out for sure.
