I just watched a video on YouTube and bought the lamp and the nail polishes from eBay it's really easy and they last about two weeks which is good cus I hate chipped nails! X.

Great job. It gets easier each time you do it. You can find more colors and brands on amazon. That's were I find my cute colors. I got my cousin addicted to gel polish.

You also don't have to use just the gellish brand...there are plenty of other brands now.

@Danii If you don't mind me asking - how much did you pay for the lamp on eBay? Not sure what a good price is/what is too much. I've been addictee to nail polish for years and a few months ago tried Shellac. I love it, but can't afford to keep it up! I work in retail though so I'm using my hands a lot and I need something that stands up to bumps and taps!

I paid aabout 12 pound I think it's a pink lamp aswel love that lol and the gel polishes I bought were aabout 5 pound each they were called bluesky and previous to that I bought gelish and they were double the price but that didnt make any difference , yeh I also work in a job that ruins my nails and I've saved so much time not having to paint them every night :) x

So you've found the cheaper polishes still did the trick and lasted! I've mevet heard of Bluesky...is it still a "Shellac"-type polish? And I agree -HUGE timesaver not having to do or touch up my nails as often!

I'm in Canada and I haven't checked thr £ > CAD conversion in a while...last time it was 2.5 times...so that would be aabout $30! Seems so cheap! I thought a UV lamp would be way more but I guess that's eBay for you!

Yeh I was surprised how cheap it was its pretty good aswel it does the job anyway I think it's 36 watt not sure thought , yeh the bluesky ones were just as good I had a navy colour on for nearly two weeks and that's with washing up lots and things like that! I think it works better aswel if you don't do too thick layers. And yeh the bluesky is basically a cheaper shellac I think they have lots of lovely colours x
