Anyone try the clarisonic? I was hoping to get some feedback before I think about buying it. I have struggled with acne since middle school and now a freshman in college and hope this will help.I don't have horrible skin but I do break out.

I get minor acne during that time of the month but as a exfoliant it is good. I have seen replicas in drugstores, for a fraction of the price and they basically do the same. But I got mine at Sephore for 160 ish and use it weekly and my skin truly feels clean and cleansed.

Well, I was in the same situation and didnt know whether to buy it.. But then I bought 'tresonics' which us basically the same concept just a lot cheaper. It might not be as good but worth buying to see if it improves your skin and then you can look into the clarisonic :)

I would not recommend it I bought one for $250 and it gave me irritation after trying to use it for 3 weeks and now it just collects dust. Biggest and most expensive disappointment

I was the same. I kept wondering if I should buy one. I get stress acne along my jawline. I bought my Mia2 from Sephora last week. It has made my skin feel soft and clean and helped with the breakouts and acne scars. I only use it at night to get the make up off. Hope that helps.

One of my close family friends is a dermatologist and in middle school I had horrible, cystic acne. She gave us the first ever model of the clarisonic and I STILL use is once a day on my skin. It always leaves me feeling fresh and clean, and it does wonders for getting makeup off!

So I just got my clarisonic on Saturday and started using Sunday. So far I can honestly say it hasn't done much for my acne, but it's only been a week. But it has improved my texture so much and I think it's going to really improve my scars. I love it! Just hope it will help my acne still btw make sure to get the acne brush head

Oh and it makes your skin feel so much cleaner rather than just using your hands!

I've tried the neutrogena wave, the Olay brush, they were just meh. The. I bought a Clarisonic Mia, been using it for a year now & it has completely revolutionized my skin. Smoother, clearer, softer, rarely a blemish. Totally worth it, I will replace it if dies, it's hands down amazing.

I've only had mine for about two and a half months and nothing has really changed about my skin except my cheeks have gotten redder (my skin was pretty good to begin with though). I've tried different brush heads and cleansers and periods of usage, I'm not ready to give up on it, but I am becoming a little tired of trying to make it work out. I really really really want to love it!

I got a cleansing brush with a proactiv order about 8 months ago, and I love it. I use it every single night and it really gets every last bit of makeup off and exfoliates wonderfully. I have always been interested in the clarisonic, I just have a really crappy job that doesn't pay well and I don't know if it's worth saving up?

I've heard the cheap alternatives aren't all that great. I love my Clarisonic!! I suggest the acne brush head, and NOT the deep pore cleansing head which is wayyyy too abrasive. I think using a Clarisonic will make you realize your face is a lot cleaner, even if you're using the same cleanser. I think Michelle Phan has an old video that compares "traditional" cleansing versus the Clarisonic...I thought it was a weird video, but I understood it after I bought mine.

Oh going back to the alternatives...I think most of them don't utilize the "sonic" technology which is what makes the brush pulse instead of rotate, and the brush heads look a lot more high quality on a Clarisonic, so I personally don't recommend them, but if that's all you can afford...go for it? Or haggle that person up there ^ that hates hers :P just kidding!!

Forgot to mention...any kind of brushing (as long as its not too rough) will help clean skin better, I just suggest doing it in the evening since it might stir up the oil glands a bit more and it will help take off the makeup! Sorry so long!!

I'm not too sure about the clarisonic however the olayprox is really good.

I got one recently and I love it. I have had acne since I was 12 and nothing has worked to get rid of it. Granted I haven't been to a dermatologist for it (I really don't want anything that's going to dry my skin and that's all I see being prescribed and I've learned that drying out the skin to get rid of acne is not a very good idea and that I don't want that for myself...so I haven't gone down that avenue yet. And I believe it's just genetics as well because my dad had it when he was my age. So I don't think there's much in the way of medicine that can be done anyway.) And it has gotten a bit better as I've grown up and started using certain products and a certain routine. But it still wasn't under control. I've been using the Clarisonic for about 2-3 weeks now and I am loving it. My skin is clean, healthy and almost acne free. I say almost because its that time of the month and even the Clarisonic can't do much for that lol. But even still the breakouts aren't as widespread as they were before. I have a few here and there and a few of them are probably just whatever my skin is purging too. I haven't seen a lot of purging but I think one or two spots may be a result of that. I'm still working out a routine and frequency of use that suits me best but so far I'm very happy with it and think it was $150 well spent.

Yesss!! OMG I used to have acne so bad! But now that I use the clarasonic (Mia 2) it got rid of almost everything except 2 spots in 3 days! I'm waiting for the other ones to go away they're almost gone. GET IT! :)

My husband just got me the Mia2 last week and it is amazing! My skin is so clean feeling every night and my acne is already clearing up. I haven't had anything new. Just what I could tell was stuck under there before. I love her so much! There is a 90 day money back guarantee. I think in that time period you will be able to tell if it is working for you or not. Just get it! I wish I would have gotten it a long time ago!

The clarisonic was designed to clean the skin 6x cleaner than using your fingers alone. It's safe to use twice a day. Eye creams, anti aging creams and moisturizers work more efficiently when you use the clarisonic because your skin is truly clean. Most of them come with a sensitive brush head but there are other options for more of a deep cleaning. The first couple of weeks your skin may purge or it may not depending on your skins reaction. I believe it is a good investment. But it may not be for everyone. At sephora you can always return it if it doesn't work for you.
