Hey, My nails always grows two layered which is so eewh.

Maybe they're dehydrated. When you don't get enough water or in a really dry climate or touch harsh chemicals your nails tend to crack or look like they're peeling especially at the tips. Drink more water, use a good hand lotion, wear gloves...
