Hey, so I am currently on a treatment of quinoderm for my acne, which is working an going fine, but I also have really bad blackheads on my nose. Fortunately, my acne and blackheads aren't mixed together, so I can apply two different treatments (one for acne and one for blackheads) at the same time without them reacting with each other. So my question is, what are some good blackhead treatments for combination skin? I've tried facial scrubs and pore cleansers, but none of them seem to work, they just make my skin shiny:(

The only way I can get rid of my black heads is to extract them manually. I put a hot wash cloth on the affected area and let the skin become moist then I put a thick cream on and let it soak in for 10 or so minutes. with clean hands and either a sanitized black head extractor or a sanitized bobby pin works the same, begin gently pushing the loop around the black head and pulling across the skin gently. afterwards I wash my face and apply tea tree oil to the area I extracted them from. People will probably say this is a bad thing to do but it works for me and because I prep the area first there's less stress on the skin. I've no scars from doing this and by extracting the hole thing they don't show up again as quickly. you just have to make sure everything is clean and be gentle (:
