Personally I don't like them at all!! They give volume but leave hair feeling really dry and you can't do anything with it!

Try putting mousse all over hair and into roots! Blow dry your hair upside down pulling your fingers through the root lifting to give natural volume! Or try some Velcro rollers to give the volume at the root? X.

I have fine hair and I use surface push powder on my roots at the crown. It gives me great volume without the stiffness of hairspray! I just rub my fingers in the crown if I feel like my hair is falling flat and voila! Instant volume! Sexy hair products also makes a powder which works really well too!

I have that product and love it! You only need a bit and can repoof your hair by running your fingers thru it or rubbing your scalp/roots a bit.

I have one from 'Beyond the Zone' (from sally) and I don't really like it. I put just a little in and it makes it so dry and static-y! I think its more for short hair. dry shampoo works as a volumizer though!
