I've heard that baking soda or bicarb soda mixed with water gets rid of acne? If it does, how does it work?

Hello, I mix baking soda into Noxzema creme for acne. it works by not only lightening the skin to help dark spots and scars with naturally occurring chemicals but with exfoliation, but also restores balance to your skin's Ph level, which helps fight and prevent acne.
