I have pretty curly hair and I use a GHD. I also use the Tresemme heat protectant. Any input would be really appreciated :)

I also have curly hair and I don't have it straight all of the time as its bad for your hair to keep straightening it.
But, when I do have it straight, I do it on 1 or 2 day old hair, and I do it in the evening then sleep on it and it helps to flatten it and then I go over again in the morning with my straighteners. I do that for a couple of days then I wash it and let it be curly for a few days so as to not damage it too much with heat :)
