I've got a ton of acne scarring - mostly on my forehead. What is the best thing to get rid of them? How long will it take?

I heard that cutting up potatoes and gently rubbing the potato against your skin will help remove scarring. I think it'll take time and patients. Try drug store products scar treatments or talk to your dermatologist :)

Professional skin peels and a topical cream with a percentage of 2% vitamin A. It will take a while, as the skin cells need to regenerate and repair, however the results are worth it.

RENs glycolactic peel worked amazingly for me in combination w philosophy's miracle worker dark spot corrector. They're both expensive =|. But sooo worth it

Lemon juice will kep with discolouration, but in the long run, you‘ll want to moisturize with a good moisturizer and apply macademia oil to your face to soften everything up. Coconut oil works well also. It‘s loaded with good stuff and works similar to bio oil. I had terrible acne scars on my nose, lower cheeks and chin as well as between my eyebrows and they looks almost nonexistant now.

Also acne scars take time to “heal“. It‘s damaged skin. The key is keeping your skin healthy and hydrated, and don‘t pick at your acne (easier said than done as an ex acne sufferer I know!) heavy creams at night (plus oils) and light hydrating creams during the day!

Bridget B. I found tea tree oil was sort of drying when I used it. I agree, the lemon juice helped with colour but not so much tea tree oil. :/ that‘s just from my experience though.

I'd start with a gentle exfoliator. Also try Vitamin E oil. You just rub it directly onto the scarring.

Over the counter products with retinol in them! I've been using Roc anti wrinkle cream for about a month and a half and slowly but surely I'm seeing results. I just know it takes some time.
