Its comparative to any drugstore, low end shampoo; such as loreal and suave and tresemme. its far below good stuff, like joico or redkin.

The funny thing is that its been around for years and was sold at the 99 cent store but started to get popular again and boom the price went back up..its ok.

I've never actually used redkin myself. I just know that its a really nice, really respected brand. its a high end salon product (also, sometimes you can get these high end hair care things at drugstores; usually fake, not worth the buy. learned that hard way lol).

I've used Joico though, that stuff is *amazing*. :)

Mane and tail dries out hair a lotttttttt. I wouldnt recommend it.

The only reason I use mane & tail is because it (supposedly) makes your hair grow fast. is that what you're looking for?
