Does anyone know a way to fixed a splayed makeup brush? I've washed my brushes and one of them has splayed. It's the Mac 217 so it's not a cheap brush.

I agree with those suggesting brush guards. You can get a pack of them at Walmart. But if its an older brush and you've used it and washed it many times it may just be time to invest in a new one. When you dry them though, maybe smooth the bristles down and sort of "set" them in place. That may help until you can get brush guards, but ultimately I think those are your best bet unless its a very old brush.

I've only have it for about 2 weeks, so this is the first time I've washed it.

I'd try the brush guards and if that doesn't work definitely take it back. Or just take it back and use brush guards on the new one. It definitely shouldn't be like that with normal cleaning that early on.
