Okay so I always wear red lip liner and lipstick and an houe after my lips get reallyy ugly they look chapped even tho I always apply chapstick.
why do the lines on my lips always show?

Good question. But maybe take a lip balm to smooth on every now and then to keep your lips hydrated. Or buy the 'moisturising' lipsticks.

Use a lip scrub (there's diy recipes online) you rub it on for 30 sec, rinse off and put lip conditioner. apply your foundation, concealer, powder, eyeliner, etc. and then do your lipliner/lipstick. you can also try putting a lipgloss on top of your lipstick. it can distract from the lines. the key thing to chapped lips is using lip balm, not chapstick. you can also try a rose salve, they have them at sephora and bath and body works.
