I asked my hairdresser for a little warmth and depth; suddenly I'm an unflattering shade of blonde. It's not that he didn't do great color, it's just way more than I wanted. Do I go back & ask for it to be toned down? Will that ruin my relationship with my hairdresser? Is there a simple, easy way to do anything at home?

I don't think asking him as long as you do it politely to fix his mistake will ruin your relationship ,I wouldn't mess with it at home you will probably end up disliking it even more.

If it isn't what you asked for then it's up to the hairdresser to fix it.

I would wash it and then style it to see how you feel about it. Sometimes when I change something I hate it until I get used to it. If you still don't like it then give him a call. As a hairdresser I personally hate when someone says they love something but then call me later and want me to change them back for FREE and make me spend more time when they just told me they liked it. But just my opinion girl. Its all part of being a hair dresser :-).

Thanks for the great advice ladies! I'm going to give it one more day and if I don't like it, I'll ask to dial it back a bit. Thank you!!
