I use Mac so they can match my skin tone to the make up.

I used MAC foundation but it broke me out. I only use their mineralize skin finish powder now. But definitely try fashion fair, Sam Fine did a line with them and it is fabulous. NYX has a red and an orange that are very pigmented and pretty on darker skin tones. NARS exhibit a is another good one. And for a touch of shimmer try MACS LoveJoy. On me it's pretty intense, as I'm caramel (Revlon nearly naked toast actually) but on darker skin, it's equally pretty.

It's fine if you're not dark skinned! All advice is welcomed :)

Mac is so darn expensive lol so maybe not mac. I have the age rewind one, and I mixed it with some lotion to make it a good tinted moisturize and it's great. I just need to loose my pores now :(

Definitely check out L'Oreal TrueMatch, Iman, Black Radiance & Black Opal.

Also Covergirl Queen Collection.

What colors should I use for blush?

You can use any color as long as it's applied right. Check out Makeupd0ll & destinygodley on YouTube. Two dark skin women who I've seen use all shades of blushes.
