Problem With Eye Makeup.

So I'm really good at doing my own eyes and they look really nice in person when I do them.
but somehow, when I have pictures taken it either looks as if I had no makeup on (like it literally looks clean) or my eyes look too small, making my nose look too big.
I have dark brown eyes and really long eye lashes
any tip on how to fix my problem?
