I agree with Angela S. make sure you want it. My sister-in-law did that hair style and one week later she regretted it. It would look cute on you but once it's gone can't get it back for awhile.

DO NOT do it lol, honestly, unless you plan to keep it this way for a really long time, its fun for the moment, but growing it out...not fun. It's a sincere pain in the butt to grow out, and it's not cute when you're trying to grow it back out,etc. I mean honestly, I like it, but only if that's what you really want to have for a long time, because I hear people complaining about the growing out part alllllll the time. It's just my opinion, but when you're over it, you have limited options with what to do with your hair until it's reasonable length and unless your hair grows really fast... typical hair growth is only 1/2 an inch per month so in a year you're (hopefully at least) only going to get it to grow about 6 inches or so. Personally I would advise against the shaved sides thing, but that's just me.

You know, I think it would look hella cute on you.. my friend did it about 5 months ago. I personally like it and don't think its played out yet.. simply because you really don't see too many people with it. I think if you have thick hair that you can flip over the side of it when its growing out then go for it. thats what my girl does, when she goes to work or now that shes growing it out, she just parts her hair differently and you can't even tell! :)

I have my side shaved & I have gotten heeaaaps of compliments. I love it. If you have long hair then you can hide it by flipping it over. I'd say do it! you only live once & your hair grows back, it will just take time :)
