They are to deep-set and small for my liking, I found thick cat eyeliner and highlighting the corner helps somewhat but is there anything else I can adjust? such as eyebrow shape/eyeshadow tecniques etc.?

White eyeliner on your wet line. Shimmer under your eye can also help. I also make sure my eyebrows aren't very thick so they won't 'press down' my eyes.
Hope some of it made sense -_^

All of the suggestions above are great! Another tip is when you line your eye, try only lining the outer third of your eye lid, as well as the outer third of the area under your water line as opposed to lining the whole eye; this prevents the liner from closing up your eye. Darker eye-makeup can also close up your eye so maybe stick to lighter or neutral shades to open up your eyes :) Use maybe a gold or shimmery brown color to reflect more light and brighten them up a bit more.
Hope I helped! xo Anh @ (youtube.com/stantonfashionclub)

When you curl eyelashes with your mascara, try to touch center more than the other. And using a white eyeliner will help you:)

I would try to do a thinner liner because liner actually can close off your eyes and make them appear smaller!! try on the bottom only going to about halfway and not all the way to your inner corner. white shadow or gold shadow in the inner corner is good and lining your water line also! under eye concealer is key to it as well! make sure you use a lighter shade than foundation or it won't help!:)

Put white eyeliner in your waterline, use the lightest eyeshadow on your lid , and add a highlight in the corner of your eye (tearduct), keeping the darker colors on the far corner. Also, use a thin line of dark eyeliner, and I would say never tightline/waterline your eye with black. Lastly, do not use eyeliner under the entire line of your bottom lashes because that makes them appear much darker. You may want to try using eyeshadows as eyeliners and smudge them out on the under eye.
