I used to literally smear brown eye shadow on my lower lash line!
Aw yuck. I had brightpink gloss. an orange face white neck and my cheeks look like someone smeered pink paint on me.. I looked like I chucked my head in a bad pf mixed paint in the dark and then ran out the door!

I would have blue roll-on glitter caked onto my eyes with pastel pink or dark purple metallic lip gloss. No eyeliner or mascara on my eyes either. I thought this combo was awesome and my family unfortunately let me out in public with this. Thankfully I've learned how to properly do makeup now :-)

I used a powder foundation that was a little bit too dark and I had no idea how to use it so I put a ton on and my dad actually let me leave the house and then when I got to school I hated the feeling so I would wipe it off with my sweatshirt. Omg it was horrible. I also put a ton of black eyeliner on my waterline and under it...it would smudge and I left it. I was a mess;p plus everybody thought I was emo.

I did not know how to blend and wore only one shadow color. It was a sparky dark purple from wet n wild. My foundation did not match. It was either waaaaayyy too light or too dark. I didn't dare try mascara or liner!

I can't think of any mistakes I made immediately when I first started wearing makeup. I think I have to give credit to my mother for that - she only allowed me to wear one item at a time when I first started, and she showed me how to put it on properly (she was a model as a young woman so she learned from the pros). If it didn't look right, I didn't get to wear it. Period. Now, she admits to me that the student has surpassed the teacher!
