That gross glittery lip gloss lol that came in those heart or star shaped little tubs

I wore WAY too much blush.

I made every mistake possible. Let me just name a few. Shaved off my eyebrows, wore fire engine red lipstick almost every day, all the WRONG foundations, pink eyeshadow. Ugh, just thinking of it kills me.

I think my worst mistake when I first started out was being so timid with my color choices. I would ONLY wear eyeshadows that were "for brown eyes" (the most adventurous color I'd wear was purple) and I was really unwilling to try anything other than browns, black, and the occasional purple. I am very glad that I never wore anything that looked absolutely ludicrous on me... at least I don't think I did... but I wish I'd been braver. When I first started wearing makeup the "natural" look was very big in my town and I didn't want to stand out or get made fun of, so I went with that even though I loved seeing the editorial looks in magazines.

I wore like 6 shades too light and my brows were a hot mess!! I also used to wear white eyeliner (like how you would wear liquid now) and would do it walking to school in people's car side mirrors so my mom didn't know.. Until I did it for school pics not realizing, oh mom will see this.. Whoops!
