I recently became vegan, and want to buy makeup not tested on animals, I know elf is cruelty free, anyone know any other good ones?(:

Are you looking for make up that's cruelty free or vegan? Cause for cruelty free there's Urban Decay, Too Faced, Kat Von D, Hard Candy, elf, sugarpill, NARS. I'm not sure what else. As far as vegan though I'm not sure =\ when in doubt use google.

You need to be looking for vegan friendly makeup, not just cruelty free. Vegan is a way of life, not just eating. Urban Decay, Too Faced, Medusa's Makeup, Sugarpill all have products that are cruelty free and vegan friendly, but not everything is. OCC is completely vegan and cruelty free, ELF make up is all vegan and cruelty free but their essential line brushes are not vegan. If you get on google and search you will a lot more, but I also like to check the sites themselves and make sure (look in the "about" or "FAQ" section and it will usually tell, if not you can email them. The sites I listed all mention if they are vegan on the individual products. READ READ READ! RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH! And ALWAYS check with the site, don't just trust word of mouth, and check up on products. Brands are constantly changing. Learn ingredients and check them.

One of the girl on here brought up a good point, more than likely if the company is cruelty free/ vegan, if they're owned by a chain company who isn't your giving them the profits (I.e. urban decay who is now owned by l'oreal) or there are chemicals in the products that at one point in time or still are tested on animals. :/ I tried to be cruelty free but it's hard because everything is :'(
