My Derma recently told me not to use foundation that has SPF. Does this cause more oil/breakouts?

It depends if your skin is sensitive to the ingredients, but I don't think it will cause more oil-- just find one that has an oil-free formula for example Revlon Colorstay =)

It depends on the actual ingredient that is being used as the spf... titanium dioxide photographs very white... but don't give up using an spf.

Yeah your derm probably sees that there could be a sensitivity to chemical sunscreen in foundation. SPF is super important however. You could consider using color science brush on sunscreen over top if needed! Unless that's also what you deem means...

My aunt died of skin cancer- so did bob marley. He probably meant something like don't rely on the SPF 15 they normally put in foundation when you could be using an SPF spray with a much higher number as a primer.

Use Clinique SPF products! Works the best! I ve extremely sensitive skin and that's the only thing that I can use.

Ya I believe it makes us oily ppl mre slick!we do nd protection cuz I love sun bathing.I used Mally foundation felt good whn applying bt hrs later I look like geasy fried chicken!yuk I sent it bk!
