Hey ladies! so tomorrow I have an interview for a shoe store (the prices range from about 70 to a little over a hundred dollars) and I wasn't sure what to wear. I don't own a lot of nice clothing and especially very few skirts. I did think that this flouncy top and pants in the same color looked really nice. I'm just not sure if it's too over the top and 'out there' for an interview and even too matchy/matchy. the location is in a cool part of town and the store is pretty hip and modern. if it helps to know a woman will interview me in her early 30's who was veryyy easy-going when I met her. Any opinions will be appreciated <3.

I love the outfit, but if I were you I would take a similar blouse in another colour :)

Thanks and thanks! lol ah I'd love to but I own nothing similar :( I neither have a skirt or other pants to match the top or a shirt to match the bottoms. my wardrobe is rather hungry at the moment o.O.

Could you add a black belt? I think that would sort of break up the outfit so it doesn't seem like one solid piece. also, the best piece of advice I ever heard was just dress somewhat better than what the employees wear :) good luck!

Yea a black blouse would go good but if you don't own black a black belt to separate all the color! But this outfit is really cute(: I wear stuff like that all the time nice job :) and good luck at your interview 💋

I think it would look great with black or white pants.

Have you got floral pants or something girlie. its too matchy for me I would not wear same solid colour top and bottem. I do love the shoes tough.

Thanks for the advice ladies! sadly my darker blue jeans won't work. One pair is too tight and would look kinda inappropriate tucked in (and I don't like it left out) and the other pair is too big and bunches up in the front making it look like I have man-parts (; I think I'll pair it with a skinny black belt from my sister's closet. as long as it's appropriate I'm happy (:

It seems a little monochromatic, maybe I would use a similar pant but a bit darker.

Don't do all the same colors. Try a gold chunky necklace and dark dark wash jeans, or even black.

I think it says your not scared of trying something out- I think the black on the blouse is actually enough to break up the two, the neutral coloured shoes have enough detail to add a pop also-

I don't think a black belt but maybe a brown belt that is the same color as your shoes. hope your interview went well.
