After I wet my face from anything, like a shower, my face is always super dry. I shower in the mornings so I don't wash my face then, I wash it at night. when I get out I dry it and then start my make-up. BUT I always lotion it like crazy, every morning, and then normally in the evening, but its still constantly dry, like the lotion only helps for a certain amount of time, and I only use powder foundation. what can I use to stop the dryness.??!!

Get a better moisturizer! apply a lot before you go to bed and wash your face in the morning then apply little before make up :)

Same here! My face is so dry after I shower. And sometimes when I forget to add lotion on my face I walk out the house looking awful , for school or anywhere in general!.. Is there like a lotion or something for this? Cause I'm with Sammie on this.

After washing your face, use some Vaseline as a moisturizer, then do a light wash/ splash of water and use a regular moisturizer in the morning. It's the only thing that works for me, I could apply so many coats of moisturizer and they wouldn't help.

I have this same problem, and nothing has worked for me. I'm looking into going to a dermatologist for this because I'm not dehydrated- and that's always the main cause. I currently use bio oil on my face in a thicker coat before I go to sleep- I've tried argan oil and tea tree oil, and other serums but those haven't really made a difference but bio oil has, a lot... and it's pretty afforable it's less than 20 dollars for the bigger bottle at drug stores like cvs or wallgreens. You could always try it, if it doesn't work you can take it back. Hope that helps!

Well if you have any dryness... DON't use powder foundation! Try First Aid Beauty moisturizers! They are pretty basic and pretty natural! Your lotion probably has salicylic acid in it which dries out the skin. A lot of products use that so that you use more of the product, just like a lot of lip balms! You need to exfoliate and you need to use a moisturizing cleanser! Caudalie does one that is moisturizing! Cleansing oils are great too. Just don't use anything with sulfates. Clinique products are known to use a lot of alcohol in their products to preserve and disinfect so stay away from them! Although, their moisture surge did save my life when I went to school in dry Oklahoma.

Origins drink up intense over night mask is great too! Korres, Origins, First Aid Beaty, and Caudalie are my favorite brands because the ingredients are simple and they don't use drying ingredient... Unless its a product meant to dry. I have crazy dry skin, and these are the product lines I swear by!

Go to your local Sephora and ask for samples! Skincare for sensitive and dry skin will be pricey, but a lot of drugstore products have terrible ingredients because the bad ingredients help to make more products cheaper and faster.

And you don't want to use any heavy oils especially oils that are soils at room temperature because it will keep bad things in and won't let the good things in!
