I have mild acne and I am trying out new products. Does tea tree oil face washes help clear acne?

I have mild acne too and I found that it helped for a couple of weeks then, everything went back to normal. I still use tea tree on the big red troublesome spots though. :)

It helps dry out the excess oil which theoretically should help acne but it really depends on your skin. With some it'll work, with others washes that dry out skin may make the skin produce more oil and it may get worse.. but sometimes you just have to experiment to find your HG product :(

I used to apply a small amount of straight tea tree oil to big spots. It does dry the oil out but I found for the most part they reduced, rather than got rid of, my spots.
But tell us how you go, because my skin hates all acne remedies and is super sensitive. Your skin might react better to it!
