I have only ever waxed my brows (and tweezed just for basic maintenance), but at a recent facial my beautician had the setting of her wax on too high and she burnt my brow-line and lip-line!! Urgh! I was SO annoyed, and only really sensed it the following day!! I wondered why my face was 'so red' and hot all the time (!!). Its taken two weeks to heal and the flaking of the skin was the worst!! So... maybe I should look at threading then, hey!?

@Arlene - Wow, that's definitely not cool for them to damage your eyebrows like that. :/
I used to get my eyebrows waxed during my teen years, but for the past few years, I've just been tweezing my own eyebrows and I actually do a pretty good job at it, lol. But lately I've been wanting to get them threaded since I want my eyebrows to look more defined! :]

I love getting my eyebrows threaded, I usually get rashes when I get my eyebrows waxed.

Threading. I find that it gives the eyebrows a more definite shape.

Threading! I think the shape is way more exact and so much cleaner! The first time or two might hurt but after that its really not bad at all.

I prefer to get my brows threaded by a professional. My friend is an esthetician & she said waxing may cause the lid area to sag overtime. I don't know how true that is, but it makes sense since the skin around the eyes is so delicate & thin, therefore the harsh waxing pulls on the lids. I have tried both ways & though threading hurts like a ***** it's worth it because imo it gives a well defined shape to the brows :)
