Persistent hot flashes at 21??

They started when I was in my third trimester. They continues throughout 14 months of breast feeding. I figured it was because of the continued pregnancy hormones. But now my son is 19 months old and I'm STILL having them, though less frequently. Is that normal after pregnancy? Has anyone else experienced them? I have them daily. sometimes multiple times in a day.
