So I went to planet beauty with the intention to buy Moroccan oil but was persuaded to buy Ava oil instead. The girl who worked there told me that Moroccan oil has silicon and that eventually it harms your hair. I regret my buy and I still want moraccain oil. Is there moraccain oil bad?

It is a good treatment for your hair, I highly recommend using it about once a week, I personally only use it on my hair once a week as it can make my hair look greasy if I use it too often and or too much of it at once.

I hope you returned the Ava oil especially since you bought it based on their recommendation.

I've used Moroccan oil for over two years (I alternate products) but I love it. It smells good, leaves your hair soft and silky. There's lots of debates on different types of ingredients used in tons of great products. With silicones I believe (I may be totally wrong) but a main issue some people have with it is just it eventually causing a buildup on the hair but personally I've never had a problem. I'd say go for it you might as well try it but buy the right type fort your hair. Hope this helps :)

Moroccan oil is the best!! They do have silicones but they act as a thermal protectant, and the specific silicones they have are water soluble, which won't cause build up because they rinse out easily. It's definitely worth the buy.
