Hello everyone I've been wanting to invest on some high quality foundations for my brides. Any range of price but what works out for you as a professional? What foundations photograph best? And lastly what powder do you set the foundation with? I would love to know what you guys prefer. It would really help me out thanks!

I was on the modelmayhem forum and a lot of people liked Graftobian or Temptu. I would set with a fine translucent hd powder. Check the rates of the local artist, just don't lowball too much because if you do that you'll never make a living. I know for sure camerareadycosmetics.com has the graftobian sample kit (airbrush foundation with its corresponding cream foundation) cost I think $23.44.

Thank you so much I'll check it out!

I actually have really good luck with Studio Fix Fluid from mac. It can provide a lot of coverage for those wanting it, or it can be easily sheered down. It photographs beautifully as well. For airbrush I like temptu the best.

For brides you obviously what something great for film and camera (HD) long lasting (sweat/tear proof) and you want to have plenty of colors and tones! I always recommend getting foundation palettes (rather than bottles) I like Cinema Secrets, Graftobian, Kryolan, and RCMA!! I carry Cinema Secrets in my bridal kit! You can get all these brands at CameraReadyCosmetics.com.

Thank you so much for your advice I will deffinately be purchasing a palette thanks!

I carry the Bobbi brown foundation/concealer palette in mine! It's amazing! I also LOVE the OCC makeup airbrush colors. They're a must have as well!

It should be, HD, waterproof and long wear. I suggest pro brands that come in palette form! Otherwise you waste space! Brand-wise I recommend Cinema Secrets, RCMA, Graftobian, and maybe Krylolan! RCMA also has a thinner you can use to make them into a liquid, as they are all thick creams! Finishing powders I would go with MAC's Prep and Prime, MUFE HD, Nars Light Reflecting powder! And Banana Powder for darker skin tones! And or Tarte's Amazonian Clay finishing powder for those that are really oily!
