Okay, so I should start by saying that Sun in has never actually hurt me, I use it 1-2 times a month for root touch ups and it keeps my hair blond...My hair is in pretty good condition but with the recent consideration of a perm I found out Sun in can be dangerous...yikes. I haven't had any issues with hair damage from sun-in but have in the past from dying, lemon juice doesn't work cause I'm just not an outdoorsy person.
Can anyone suggest an alternative? I love having my blond hair, I feel like me with it and I'm not willing to part but all these horror stories about sun in are starting to scare me. Any shampoos or sprays that would actually work and aren't as damaging?
