My foundation has come out really cakey and powdery looking (I use liquid foundation). I don't do anything different in my routine, I wash, moisturize, and prime before foundation, and I use brushes not my hands or sponges. And it's not because my foundation is getting old I actually bought a new bottle two days ago. Does anyone have any tips to help!?!?

Dot a little bit on your skin and rub it in with your finger tips.

It's Cover Girl Clean oil control, and I've been using this brand for a long time and nothing has changed.

If you want to continue using your liquid foundation try using a beauty blender egg to apply it with. goes on flawless and doesn't look cakey. if you want to continue using your brushes mix your foundation in the back of your hand with finishing spray then apply with a damp open bristle brush. hope that helped.

If you start seeing the cakes look again. You should really try Kat Von d. My favorite of all times. Full coverage, no cakieness. & pretty affordable. You can find it at sephora.
