Urban Decay, hands-down!! The application is as smooth as silk, and it comes in a myriad of colors. I do recommend not using their 24/7 black, though, because it's (believe it or not) too black, and it smears. For whatever reason, the other shades do not seem to have this problem...my best friend and I have had lengthy discussions about this...LOL. Now, UD is a little more expensive, so I recommend saving a little and trying out one of their combo packs that comes with the sharpener. Warning: Once you try UD eyeliner, you'll be hooked!! ;0)

@kelly I think it depends on what you like. I like using pencil on my waterline and liquid on top.

I agree with cassandra but I found a new love its by Rimmel London its gel liner. it works much better than any other gel liner I've used. Btw Gel eyeliner is the way to go its long lasting and if it comes with a little brush it makes it eaiser to do the Winged eye look (:

Yes maybelline eye studio gel is lasts forever it's waterproof and great for winged liner even comes with the applicator brush :)

Personally I love gel best and I'm kind of a gel liner freak. I've tried everrryything and even though mac isnt my holy grail gel liner it is the one I use the most :)

I just came across one of Urban Decay's 24/7 liners in my makeup stash and used it and I cannot believe 1) that I didn't buy ALL of the colors in one swoop and 2) that I let it get away and haven't used it for such a long time.
It is my perfect liner. Goes on super smooth, doesn't smudge, doesn't transfer onto my lid, and the colors are amazing. The very next time I have some extra money I'm buying at least 2, but preferably 5 lol.
