If you have full lips its best to stick with a darker shade.

Candi, you can whatever shade you want. As a person with full lips, I use bright colors but use a lip liner to add a bit of dimension to my lips. In my opinion, we have the best lips and people pay to get what we have naturally. I think any color would look amazing with your skintone.

I agree with Pamela W. I just recently started wearing lipstick and wondered why it took me so long to wear it.

I draw my lips for a full effect. You are so lucky! I like macs lipstick because they have matte, glossy and regular shades. If you want smaller lips, id recommend skipping gloss

I love your lips... Since you would be starting to just wear lipsticks I would suggest you start with a shade close to your lipgloss and then when are used to that start with different colors from softs to brights. Always remember not to shy away from any new color... Everyone can carry off any color.. You just need to walk around with it for 5 min and trust me you will get used to looking at yourself in that shade. Try new shades every time you want to pick another lipstick... That way you won't have too many of the same color shades! Good Luck! :)
