Products I use on my eyes I get rid of on the expiration date because I have extremely sensitive eyes but generally as long as the texture/color/scent hasn't changed or the product hasn't separated I think you'll be ok.

Depends, if its eyeshadow, no. but I would definitely. not use things like foundation once its expired. because bacteria can build up and cause acne or other skin problems.

Mascara I do replace every 6 months. Eyeshadows I just clean with anti-bacterial wipes and they're usually fine. Foundation never expires on me. Lipstick I keep it is still smells/feels ok, I also wipe this. Eyeliner I keep.

So El O. you just use regular antibacterial wipes or a specific type to disinfect items?

Just regular ones. You can also use rubbing alcohol. I use it on my eye products and lipsticks about once a month, and right after I'm sick. (And of course before I loan any makeup to friends.)
