Hi guys. I'm 11 and I just bought some Mac yesterday. Do you think I should buy more or is that too young?

I think the fun in exploring makeup is getting the drugstore brands, experimenting with tons of colors, then as your skill builds buy more expensive brands. Plus, I only wore eyeliner and mascara in middle school. That was pushing it I think. Go light on the makeup, the years of young skin are golden!

I'm 14. I've loved makeup since I was your age. I started with (and still use) drug store products. At 12 1/2 I was introduced to high end products because she sent me a box of them. I then started purchasing them myself. I know use a mixture of both. But I suggest starting with drug store products so you can experiment like crazy. Once you master/grab a hold of your makeup style/preferences/and techniques you could buy the high end stuff. My opinion. U dont have to follow it, but I highly suggest it.

There's no limit when it comes to buying makeup. If you like it buy it. Ask yourself if you want to spend 15 for lipstick or 4? I love both.

In my opinion I feel wearing makeup at such a young age like that is a way of forcing yourself to grow up. Enjoy being young and child-like while you can.

Only if you know how to use it right and what exactly to buy. But don't wear too much... It looks trashy on such young girls.

I kinda believe that younger girls should stay away from makeup only because they make mistakes and whenever I see a picture of me in middle school with makeup I cringe! Not wearing makeup is great. A lot of women wear makeup to appear younger or hide things which generally young people don't need.

I'd suggest drug store for starters of any age. You'll be able to test out and experiment with a lot more items that way :)

No. Stick to drugstore for now.

I would recommend drugstore to start out and then you can work your way up. But if you can afford it I don't see why you couldn't pick something up once in a while..=)

I think if you're young and experimenting you shouldn't waste money on high end makeup. I only started buying high end when I mastered my craft and know what it is that I like and what looks right on me.

If you want to use your money on high end products then go ahead, I would recommend you to start out with cheaper brands though, that also allows you to play around and be more skilled so when you use money on more expensive stuff you're also 100% aware what you want and how to use it right.
Now as others says in your age you have pretty skin so wait with foundation and stuff, now I used heavy eye makeup from te start when I began with makeup cos of my style, but try to start slow and build up, and again wait with foundation I didn't start on that until I was 15-16 but people thought I had been using it for a longer time =)

Your too young you shouldn't be wearing make up at all... Go outside & play!

I did, I used to love it, people would always tell me 'your too young' but that's what I loved and that's what I was passionate about, if a young boy plays footy all day every day because they are passionate about it and love it they don't get told otherwise, so I think neither should young girls who are passionate for makeup, if that's what you want to do then go for it, but don't just do it to be grown up or cool! Do it because you love it and you want it :)
