I have very chapped lips with a lot of extra skin. So whenever I put lipstick on it looks awful cause the skin is sticking out and my lips don't look smooth. Any advice please? :)

Take a toothbrush, run it with hot water then just brush your lips with the toothbrush. This works everytime! And then put on vaseline! Your lips will be all smooth and look naturally red from the scrubbing

lip scrub and carmax :) I would also drink more water. when lips are chapped it means your body needs more water.

by drinking wayer. sounds silly...but its true. adopt a watee bottle and fill it up three times a day. staying hydrated helps your skin tremendously, and your lips are even more prone to dehydration :)

Nivea Works Wonders! It helps heal your lips and they have ones that resemble lipstick shades. (:

Yes I would suggest a bit of a scrub but nothing too rough at all the skin on your lips are sensitive even if they look rough I had the same problem from time to time and I would rub gently with my toothbrush it would still make my lips flakey :( I found that applying more oils Vaseline etc. to them was better for me than taking it away hope your lips feel better soon:)

Mix a equal parts honey and sugar and pat it on the lips. Take a toothbrush and run it under warm water and use it to massage the srub into your lips. Id say use it about every three days. (and drinking lots of water helps too!!)

After you scrub your lips smooth, put on Neutrogena overnight lip care. You can get it at the drugstore and its in a small white pot. The stuff is amazing! You should try it.

I had dermatitis on my lips for 3 months straight, which is severe chapped lips. I recommend NOT using drugstore chapsticks, which your lips can become prone to, making them never get better. Use petroleum jellies, or what totally cleared my three month chapped lips is Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment which I got at CVS from a pharmacist! Whatever you do, DON'T lick them or peel them! I hope this helps! Good luck!
