what color should I die my hair?

I wanna die my hair a red color... But darker not so bright because my school won't allow non-normal colored hair. I have short layered hair and were I can flip my bangs back with my hand. So I thought it would look good red but I'm not sure... I'm also not sure about all the harsh chemicals in the die.... Please help me!

Just color it red! If you never colored ur hair before it won't damage it too much, the only thing though is red fades very quickly so if you want t to keep looking fresh you will have to color it with a Demi color or it will look faded and dull
