Any advice to become popular on YouTube?

I have created a YouTube account but I am so terrified to upload videos. I was so plumped up about a week ago, but got cold-feet when it was time for me to upload my first video. I am just scared that people with criticize the way I speak. I have a New Orleans accent and some words are hard for me to pronounciate, I know it's silly but I've be having problems with that since I came to texas (about 7 years ago) I can say things right in my head but it doesn't come out verbally correct. However, I REALLY want to become a beauty guru. Do you guys have any advice or tips that can help me?

Just be your self and stay confident! People will love you for you and I'll watch your vids plus lots of people love accents!

Stay confident about yourself, people will end up criticizing either way but try to not pay attention to rude comments .

When dealing with YouTube you will always deal with haters, but for every 10 of them there are 100 more who will love you. Just let your personality shine through and people wont care about your accent. I was scared at first but now I love uploading videos. its always the first video that is the hardest. I'm sure you'll do fine. I hope this helps, good luck hun. :)
