I started to notice about two weeks ago that my scalp is becoming itchy and my hair is becoming dry!
I checked for lice and I didn't see anything! I don't know if it's because I've recently become lactose intolerant or that I've changed shampoo and conditioner!
Can someone please help me? My ends are so dry (I don't straighten my hair) that even when I comb/brush through it a hundred times it's still knotty and hay like.

Do you dye it? I would start using an intensive conditioner, and a leave on conditioner, maybe an oil treatment too. Don't blow dry it, and don't be too rough if you towel dry it and start cutting it every four weeks working on getting the dead stiff out and the new stuff in.

Okay here's my advice. I have been dying, straightening , blow drying and putting crazy stuff in my hair for a VERY long time, I recently dyed my hair (again) and everytime I do, the dryness and damage comes with it, but this is what i do and my hair is shiny, soft and (somewhat) healthy once again.
1. Go buy some Morrocan Argan Oil ( I believe Garnier makes some now) , a keratin infused shampoo and conditioner and a keratin spray. Also a deep conditioning mask for your hair (I use It's a 10 miracle leave in mask.
2. When you shower make sure to lather the shampoo very well, and rinse.
3. When you use your conditioner combine about a dime sized amount of the Argan oil with it and put though your hair, concentrating on your problem areas, let sit in your hair for about 3-5 minutes. Rinse.
4. When you get out of the shower towel dry your hair, DO NOT BLOWDRY, while its still damp take another small (dime sized or less) amount of the oil and work through hair. Do not brush, use a wide toothed comb if you feel the need to comb your hair, a brush can pull on hair and snap it, especially while its damp, thats when your hair is the most pliable.
5. Take the Keratin spray spray it into your hands then work through hair.
6. Let your hair air dry completely , do not blow dry unless it is absolutely necessary , and if you must please use a heat protectant.
Use the hair mask like once or twice a week just follow the instructions on the package, also do not was your hair everyday, it washes away your natural oils and can dry your scalp. Wash your hair every other day or every two days.
Sorry for the long post but i hope i help, have a nice day <3

If youre on a crazy diet and have eliminated fat- thatll affect your hair. Take calcium that will help. Also its the time of the year where everything is just dryer.

I recommend pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair treatment kit which is very good for repairing and restoring the damaged hair. :)

Do a conditioning treatment once a week with coconut oil, almond oil or argan oil to moisturize your hair and make it healthy. Leave in the oil in with a shower cap over your head for about 30 minutes to 1 hour to let your hair absorb it. Sometimes it’s good to leave it overnight for extra moisture. I use an argan oil hair mask from pro naturals for repairing and moisturizing and it leaves my hair so soft and healthy, I totally recommend it.
