get the foam rollers at wal mart! theyre only $8-$9! you wear them at night, sleep with it, and then take it out in the morning and have nice curls! :)

I know this sounds amateur but my hair is the same type and I can literally make spiral curls with my finger after I shower part it into sections and keep swirling your hair around your finger and keep going around each curl till they are damp close to dry. It will take about 30 min.
