Self tanner on your face if you have acne? fakebake

I used to use drugstore gradual tanners on my face and body, even one made just for your face and still got dark discoloration around my knees, neck, and mouth it took a loooonngg time for the discoloration to fade all the way. I want to use a good self tanner like fake bake flawless i've heard really good things, I'd like to apply it on my face and neck but im so scared of getting dark discoloration on my face, especially since I have acne and dark marks/scars, could this worsen it? or help it? I have some wrinkliing around my neck too and im not sure if it will make me look like i have a bruised neck lol (that happened to me last time i used a self tanner on just my body) has anybody with acne or scars used this product or any self tanner on your face and neck? does it turn out okay?

NO NO NO! The fake tan whatever make it is will make your face more oily=more spots/blemishes. In a salon I used to work in they were all pro-fakebake but it used to make me look like I'd rolled in a pigs trough. Leave your face alone!

fake bake sucks, imo. i returned mine. but if you're sold on that one, they have a facial tanner which would be much better for someone with acne. however, it's going to darken your spots too and that won't look good.
