I'm half Korean and am really into their skincare, so I sometimes get advice from Korean makeup counters. I know this may sound weird but I massage my face really good at night... like 5-10 minutes. I also bought something called "massage cream". I do not use the massage cream a lot... maybe 1-2 times a week. However, the massage works really well. I have had cystic acne for the past almost 5 years. Prior to that, I had bad acne for about 3 years. I still do get the occasional spot, but that's not so much the issue right not... it's the scarring. I tried so much! Aspirin masks, baking soda masks, rice cleansers, lemon (not too good for my skin since it is really sensitive), scar serums, whitening creams... they're all just a few! However, take the time to really massage your cleanser and lotion or cream in. I have been doing it everynight for about 4-5 months and my scars faded so much!

I used lemon juice n they faded away. It takes a while. Or use a tinted moisturizer to cover them for a bit. They'll fade eventually on their own though. It just takes time.

I have the same issues but mine was since 4th grade! Can you believe that? Anyways I get bad cystic acne and I used to have bad acne everywhere my neck back and chest but I used natural tea tree products to clean it and that went away but I still have it on my face but I realized dermalogica helps me treat the acne and scarring a tad at the same time. However I used the tea tree products forever-- about 3 years and it cleared up all that acne/scarring and I also used selsun blue shampoo on my body which cleared the remaining last bit.
