I dyed my hair a red before and wanted a change so put a chocolate brown in after leavin the red grow out for 3 months. it looked great up until the 3rd wash and now I can see the red sheen coming back through again. any advice on how to get rid of the red as its really coming back through

Red tones stain the inside of the hair..so it's really tough.. A great purple shampoo or tobacco tone will help keep the brown hue richer and keep the red down. Davines makes some really great ones. Be prepared to get a gloss every 3-4 weeks if you are determined to keep a perfect chocolate hue. Good luck :-)
