Oh my 5-6 cups a day is just too much! Yes, obviously its affecting your skin if your skintoned changed. I know when I have too much my skin feels rough. I never experienced a change in color but then again I never went up to 5 cups a day. Switch to green tea. Its definitely an acquired taste but its much healthier for you and there are caffeinated versions if you need to stay awake.

@ shelley:thanks.
is green tea ok though im feeding my baby???

Ahhh...breastfeeding. Then I would tread very carefully and only drink non-caffeine green tea and keep it at 2 mugs a day. Simply because there hasn't been extensive testing of the effects of green tea in breastfeeding moms. But I would definitely do away with any kind of caffeine because the baby is getting that in the milk and it can have adverse effects on lil one. ')
