what is the reason behind the burning and watering eyes after applying some eye cosmetics & what can be done to stop this???

If it is only happening with specific products you could be allergic. If it happens no matter which products you use you may want to stop using them and see a doctor to be safe. I had to stop using eyeliner and mascara on my water line/lower lash line for a while b/c of the same thing. My optometrist informed me I had clogged pores right along that area that are supposed to produce the oil that keeps your eyes from drying out too quickly. I used a very warm wet washcloth for 15 mins twice a day for a week and it helped. You should get a professional opinion though. Don't want to take chances with your eyes.
