My uncle gave me a handful I samples, I used it and it did nothing for me :( I had bad acne growing up and currently suffering from acne scars. I break out once every four to five months now anyways, off topic, Epiduo didn't do anything for me :/

It depends on how bad your acne is, what type of acne you have, and your skin. It didn't really work for me because I need something with 10% benzoyl peroxide in it to combat my stubborn genetic acne. However, it might just be that adapalene doesn't work with my skin or something. Don't be discouraged by this, everyone's skin is different. I reccomend asking your doctor/dermatologist for samples to see if it works or if your skin reacts with it.

It's a good topical ointment you just have to apply sparingly else it will dry your skin out causing over oil production and more breakouts

As Natasha said, everyone's skin is different. You just need to find a product that works best for you. I have acne also, but my acne tends to go away when I use these two products:
1. Yes To Tomatoes acne scrub
2. Simple acne scrub
These two products help me a lot, but I'm really not sure what works for your skin type. If you have oily skin, I would recommend using oil balancing face cleansers or scrubs. Try to use skin care products twice a day. If I stop washing my face for a few days, I break out. So even if your acne DOES clear up a lot, still don't stop using that product that's helping you. I would also suggest carrying a little tube of acne cream in your handbag to apply during that day.
I really hope that this works for you,

Isabel, sorry for the late reply. It didn't dry it out. It made the area I applied to feel tight bc the cream dried up. It didn't have any affects on my skin. :/

I have used epiduo for over a month and it hasn't changed a thing for me but it may work for your skin, everyone's different.
