This is a brief article that I found that discusses what it is, what you need, examples, etc. http://blog.birchbox.com/post/24224204212/how-to-contour-your-face-like-a-celebrity Basically: Contouring and highlighting plays with shadows (hollows of face) and prominent features to emphasize and sculpt features. Using contouring and highlighting, you can 'fudge' features to a certain degree because you're purposefully bringing out features.

definitely try it! I like to contour my face to sculpt it, you fake the illusion of higher cheekbones a slimmer nose a shorter chin or smaller jaw line, the possibilities are endless! I would watch a few youtube videos to learn techniques then sorta build on that to find a method that works best for you!:)

I actually used bronzer to contour today for the FIRST time ever and someone told me my face looked slimmer. Contouring is definitely something you should try just to see the difference it adds to your face. Brings out all your features!
