I'm a little out of the loop on the whole bb creams, what are they? What purpose do they serve?

Basically a bb cream (or beauty balm) is an all in one: your skin care, SPF , primer and foundation. Not all of them work they way companies seem to suggest! A lot of people say you should into the Asian skin care lines (they seem to actually have all the benefits) but one I have recently fallen in love with is by Tarte. Now depending on the person a bb cream may not have enough coverage, I know many people using bb creams in place of their old primers because they tend to correct color better. I don't know if this makes sense. Lol. They are similar to a tinted moisturizer, but should have more benefits!

Skin79, a Korean company has some really good ones. I like the hot pink Super Plus one.
