Red Lipstick/Pale Skin

when your natural colour is pretty much the same as a vampire but you really want to wear red or plum lipstick what do u do? I have blonde hair too so worry it looks too harsh on me, also have problems with the lipstick bleeding and disappearing quite quick!

I am pale like that also and have my natural blonde hair half the time and I think red looks good, I always get compliments on it so I am sure it looks fine on you. I am not sure about the plum, I have never tried it, but I usually tend to find it to look better on darker skin tones. Maybe a red with a slight hint of purple would be good?

Also, for the bleeding and disappear use a lip primer or a lip pencil underneath the lipstick!

Taylor Swift ALWAYS has red lips and they look great on her! I also have really pale skin and I say go for it! Just remember to play up one feature at a time and stay soft and natural on your eyes. As Brittany suggested, purchase a lip primer and either clear lip liner or one that matches your lipstick, and always exfoliate your lips before wearing bold lipsticks so your lips are super smooth and ready for the products. :)

It's very pretty when pale girls pull off reds. Try MAC's Ruby Woo, it's a shade that looks great on literally EVERYBODY. Srsly :)

An orange red will suit you with a lip primer and lip liner all over the lip. Off the top of my head Wet N' Wild's Pretty Perssimion would look good with NYX's lip liner in Hot Red. Or MAC's Lady Danger with their liner in Redd or Cherry.
