How can I get good multi colored shadow looks with little space and droopy lids? unless I raise my eyebrow my upper eye completely covers my crease and hides most of my lid. :/

I want to know this too and also for eyeliner. I can't do winged eyeliner now cos my lid is droopy at the corner and the line ends up looking bent :(

melanie- practice a lot. I used to think it would neverrrrrrr work for me. sometimes not following your lid all the way down works so it doent look too droopy. doing really tiny wing or doing a very exaggerated one. play around with it. always keeep a non oily makeup remover soake qtip around to fix as you go!

I have the same issue. Take a mirror and put it to an angle where it's looking up at you. So you'll be able to see everything. Next you want to add a crease color to your crease and slightly above. Once that's done you want to add your lid colors. Add those colors slightly above your lid space into your crease. Blend the crease color and lid color together. If you want take a darker color and add that to your outer V going into your crease. You have to really practice how to do makeup with eyes like ours. Oh as far as a winged look I usually do it straight out. That droopy corner is hard to get that high up winged look. If I really want to do that high up wing look. I usually keep the eye real simple and cover some of the droopy skin with the winged part of the eyeliner. Oh and FYI with eyes like ours mattes are our friends. Going slightly above the lids are less noticeable than shimmers. Oh and never add shimmer to your crease. I hope this helps!

Here's a pic of my winged look on my droopy eye. It's not the best but hell I'm practicing. :D

Thanks guys! @ Melanie, I just helped two other people with that. instead of trying to start the wing from the liner on the top lid start it where your bottom and top liner meet, right at the corner of your eye, and instead of just swooping up try going more outward, or out then up. aim for only having to go through the tip of your crease, then blend some dark shadow near the wing and blend it lighter toward the middle of your lid to further camoflouge your crease. here's a pic of mine, I'm raising my eyebrow because of my droopy lid, but you can see how I do mine.

I also have hooded eyes. I find that when I do coloured shadow looks, they disappear even more if my lashes are exaggerated - like if I wear false lashes. Soo keep your lashes natural :) or alternately, you can make your lashes the point of focus of your look.

I try to blend out colours above the crease but it takes effort. I also use an eyeliner brush and use it to drag coloured shadow across my lower lash line :) this usually looks good for a more dramatic look, not really for every day wear.

hope my random rambling helps haha

I would suggest to watch makeup guru videos online who also have hooded lids. Vintageortacky has some great makeup looks for hooded eyes. Also notice how celebrities with hooded eyes wear makeup such as Rihanna.
