I drink soda a lot and it never breaks me out. It may depend on the person.
It's out of the blue, but have you washed your sheets, comforter and pillow cases lately?

It depends, really. I can only say that for my own part my acne cleared up a lot when I stopped drinking so much coke...on the other hand, I did that for a lot of reasons other than acne and I was also pretty much at the end of puberty, so I can't say for certain that cutting the soda helped clear the acne up.
That being said, your diet absolutely affects your skin. The study that was done that suggested there was no relationship between the two had so many holes in it it would make a swiss-cheese maker proud. Reducing your overall sugar intake certainly will NOT harm you and I would strongly recommend it because it will have a lot of benefits for you in the long haul, whether or not it helps clear up your acne.
